Romania, as a US ally, is not targeted by any aggressive action of Iran, says Iran's Ambassador to Bucharest, Morteza Aboutalebi.

Romania, as a US ally, is not targeted by any aggressive action of Iran, said, on Friday, Iran's Ambassador to Bucharest, Morteza Aboutalebi, explaining that legislation recently adopted by the Iranian Parliament refers strictly to American actions.

Shield from Deveselu is not targeted, also said Ambassador Aboutalebi.

An increase of NATO presence in the Middle East is not perceived by the Tehran regime as having any connection with Iran, Ambassador of Iran said, adding that Iran has been and is ready at any time to negotiate with the international community but also with the United States.

Regarding the crash of the Ukrainian airplane on Tuesday in Tehran, Iranian Ambassador expressed condolences, but claimed it was an engine failure. Iran cannot provide the aircraft’s black box because it would violate international regulations, Morteza Aboutalebi stated.
