Eurostat: Prices for alcoholic beverages in Romania are 26% below average in the EU.

Prices for alcoholic beverages in Romania are the lowest in the European Union, 26% below average, show Eurostat data.
Prices of alcoholic beverages (spirits, wine and beer) are the highest in Finland - 82% above the average in the European Union - Ireland and Sweden, and the lowest in Romania, Bulgaria and Hungary.
European Statistical Office also shows that in Romania, prices of alcoholic beverages have declined in 2018 compared to 2017.
