Police are drawing attention to cloned internet banking pages

The Romanian police draws attention to internet pages that imitate the internet banking sites of some institutions.
Yesterday, Law enforcement issued a series of recommendations to avoid fraudulent transactions by accessing these pages.
According to a press release, these cloned pages can be discovered using search engines.
They are displayed either as advertisements that mimic a search result or as a search result itself.
Among other things, the police ask people to pay attention to the name of the page they are accessing. The cloned ones have similar names, but not identical to those of the banks.
You also need to pay attention to any changes in the authentication process.
At the same time, people who have already been victims are advised to notify the police.
