National Culture Day, celebrated in the Senate

The Senate celebrated today the National Culture Day through an action carried out with the support of the Romanian Cultural Institute. Also, the National Museum of Romanian Literature in the Capital hosted the Young Writers Gala.
Two events took place today, which marked this National Day, at 18:30 an extraordinary concert of the "George Enescu" Philharmonic at the Romanian Athenaeum, and at 19:00 a grand show at the National Theater, organized by the Ministry of Culture and institutions of Romania and the Republic Moldova.
Beyond these festive events, artists took to the streets to ask for the support of the authorities.
The cultural sector has become invisible, say professional associations in the field, demanding compensation for the lack of activity in the pandemic.
