National Business Anti-Corruption Ombudsman Platform

EUROLINK-House of Europe Foundation, in partnership with the Freedom House Foundation - Romania, initiated a round table in view of establishing the task force groups of the National Business Anti-Corruption Ombudsman Platform in Romania.

This initiative came to the suggestion of European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) representatives and aims to improve the business and investment climate of Romania in the relationship with representatives of the central authority or with local officials.

For the time being, the working groups will function on an informal level.They will work on improving legislation and will train those in the business environment who want to benefit from mediation with the public sector.
