Media 2020 Conference in Sinaia

Radio Romania and the Asia-Pacific Broadcasting Union (ABU) are organizing, today, in Sinaia, the Media 2020 Conference on "How can Europe and Asia co-operate in the face of new media challenges".

The Conference brings together experts from around the world who will debate major trends in media development and will focus on how broadcasters, both from Asia-Pacific region and Europe, relate to the transformations in the media industry.

Following the Conference, the Heads of public radio and television institutions from several countries of the world will also meet in Sinaia, on Tuesday and Wednesday.

It is the first meeting of this kind that the international forum of public broadcasters organizes in South Eastern Europe, according to RRA Reporter Alina Stănuţă.
