Klaus Iohannis: Romania will benefit from considerable European funds

Negotiations at European level foreshadowed substantial funding to support the economic recovery and Romania will benefit from considerable funds, mostly non-reimbursable, according to what President Klaus Iohannis mentioned, at the opening of the 2020 edition of "Romanian Entrepreneurs Day", event organized by the National Council of Small and Medium Private Enterprises.
Klaus Iohannis explained that, for these funds, the most appropriate projects must be prepared with maximum seriousness, which will multiply their effects in the long-term development of Romania.
The head of state also said that a new economic model for our country means accelerating digitalization, energy security, investment in infrastructure and developing skills relevant to the labor market, meaning development directions for which the Government attaches greater importance to the contribution of the business environment.
