Foreign Minister on new EU sanctions against Russia

Foreign Minister Bogdan Aurescu welcomed the EU's adoption of the new sanction package against Russia, stressing the importance of implementing them, and expressed readiness to discuss new sanctions also.

Bogdan Aurescu attended the meeting of European foreign ministers in Luxembourg. The head of Romanian diplomacy also expressed concern over the growing reports of war crimes and crimes against humanity committed in Ukraine and stressed Romania's support for the International Criminal Court's efforts to investigate them. He also presented the measures adopted by Romania to support Ukraine.
