Analyzes and scenarios regarding a possible change of the Fiscal Code

RADIO ROMANIA NEWS - At the moment, the government's objective is fiscal consolidation and maintaining the single tax rate - says Prime Minister Nicolae Ciuca.
However, the Liberal leader admits that at the level of the Ministry of Finance, analyzes and scenarios are being made regarding a possible change in the Fiscal Code.
Nicolae Ciuca: “There is no discussion about the progressive tax, there is currently no other tax formula, but there are analyzes and studies that are carried out in the working group set up at the level of the Ministry of Finance. Once these fiscal optimization measures are completed, we will move on to have the stages of consultation with the specialized institutions, with the academic environment, with the business environment, with the associative environment.”
In nine days, the Minister of Finance will present to the coalition a project related to capital and labor taxation - announced the president of PSD, Marcel Ciolacu.
He also says that after consultations with all the factors involved, the right decision will be made for Romanians.
Marcel Ciolacu: “At this moment, all the weight has fallen on the middle class and those on low incomes. We need to find balance, especially since both PSD and PNL are in power, to find a predictable and sustainable balance for the future of Romania, for our future and that of our children.”
