American unmanned aerial vehicles deployed at Câmpia Turzii airbase
US Air Force says UAVs were previously stationed in Poland and will remain in Romania until spring.

MQ 9 Reaper American unmanned aerial vehicles (UAV) are deployed at Câmpia Turzii airbase, for the second time in Romania, following two-month deployment during last year’s summer.
US Air Force says UAVs were previously stationed in Poland and will remain in Romania until spring.
Deployment of UAVs in Câmpia Turzii has been coordinated with the Romanian Government. It aims to promote stability and security in the region and to strengthen relations with NATO allies and other European partners, US Air Force states.
An MQ 9 Reaper was used in mission to liquidate Iranian General Qassem Soleimani earlier this year in Baghdad.
