Romania receives €1.3 billion from the EC

On Tuesday, June 10, Romania will receive €1.3 billion from the European Commission as part of the third payment from the NRRP.
The amount is only half of what it should have been, because Bucharest has not carried out the reforms it committed to.
The Romanian government is considering modifying the NRRP so that the fourth tranche will be larger, in order to recover the losses.
