Mobile hospital in Letcani, Iasi County, authorized for use

The mobile hospital from Letcani, Iasi county, made out of approximately 100 containers, received today the authorization for use and will be able to hospitalize patients starting October.
The unit is located on DE 585.
The Containers total about 4 km, the mobile hospital having a capacity of 256 beds, of which 103 for Intensive Care, and an accommodation area for medical staff.
This medical unit is the only Role 3 hospital in Romania and southeastern Europe and will function as an external department of the Clinical Hospital for Infectious Diseases "St. Parascheva" in Iasi.
