Over a 1,000 high school students went out on the streets of Bucharest on September 20 to demand stronger measures for the protection of the environment.
Romanian high-school students thus joined worldwide rally proposed last fall by Swedish teenager Greta Thunberg, who called for strikes all over the world to draw adults' attention to the danger the planet is in in terms of environment protection.
