Pianist Davide Martello cancels concerts, joins Bucharest 10 August rally

Pianist Davide Martello, who became famous for his concerts in conflict zones, has announced on Facebook that he decided to cancel his scheduled concerts in Germany and come to Bucharest on August 10.
He wants to be present in Victoriei Square at the rally scheduled to take place one year after the protest that was violently suppressed.
Martello performed in Bucharest last September, one month after aggressive intervention of Gendarmerie against protesters. Hundreds of people needed medical care following use of tear gas by gendarmes.
Following last year's protests in Victoriei Square, several criminal files have been opened, which have not yet been finalized.
