The euro has reached a record today against the leu. The National Bank cost one euro at 4.8641, the fifth record set this month alone.
The highest value was previously recorded on September 17 when the euro was quoted at 4.8595.
Yesterday, the European currency exceeded the level of 4.86 in transactions on the interbank market, immediately after the vote in parliament by which the 40% increase in pensions was adopted.
