Romania wants an additional allocation of European funds-said in Brussels, Prime Minister Victor Ponta, after a meeting devoted to the support of a strong cohesion policy, with a significant budget for 2014-2020.

The talks are difficult, because you have found a solution that will reconcile different positions.

On the one hand, the recipient states, who want at least allocations at the level of previous budget; on the other hand, the net contributing countries, seeking discounts on various levels.

According to the premier, our country maintains its position to benefit from the additional funds for the common agricultural policy and the structural and cohesion funds.

In return, Romania pledged to improve their administrative capacity at the same time in order not to lose the money you allocate again.

The Prime Minister also said that on the way to the airport he calls on president Traian Basescu to determine, for a meeting on Wednesday, according to the head of State’s schedule.

He asks the president to represent the mandate at the European Council, and if he not receives, will be the one who will come to Brussels said Prime Minister Victor Ponta.
