New digital textbooks, "ready since 2014-2015 school year."

The first new textbooks for students will be available beginning with the academic year 2014-2015, hardcover, digital and online, announced the Ministry of Education.

According to the draft prepared by it, the new formats must enrich the educational process with interactive multimedia activities.

The manual will be accompanied by a digital component, stored on a CD and available on platfofma www.manuale.edu.ro.

The digital component of the manual PDF form will include the contents of the printed version of its multimedia interactive learning activities that can be educational, games, animations and simulations.

At first, in the next school year, experimental school books will be available, and also will be used existing textbooks.

November 5-December 5 2013 will take place providing the libraries of schools of experimental textbooks for the first grade approved by order of the Minister.

For second grade of the school manuals assessment , projects will start on August 1st and will end on December 23rd this year.

According to the timetable laid down in the 2014-2015 school year, pupils of the 2nd, 5th and 9th will have new textbooks.

The Education Ministry will try to accelerate the process of implementation of new textbooks for grades VIII, XII, so that they can enter into force starting the school year 2016-2017.
