Young people over 30 years old, with the exception of those from Bucharest and Ilfov county, will be able to receive support of up to 100.000 euros to establish social enterprises from European funds.
The total budget is over 100 million euros, but the entrepreneurs will not receive the money directly.
The European funds will be accessed in advance by a series of organizations that will select the aspiring entrepreneurs in the projects they carry out.
In order to have access to the money, those interested will go through entrepreneurship courses for 1 year, where they will learn to make business plans.
They must also employ a minimum of four people in social enterprises and ensure co-financing of at least 10%.
The applicant's draft Guide, under public consultation until May 25, has already been published.
