Yellow Code of storms in southwestern of Romania
Meteorologists have issued a warning of heavy rain, squalls and hail, for the counties of Arad, Timiş, Hunedoara, Gorj, Caras-Severin, Mehedinti, Dolj, Vâlcea, Olt, Argeş, Teleorman, Prahova and Dâmboviţa.

According to the National Meteorological Administration(ANM) , on Tuesday from 15:00 till Wednesday morning at 3: 00, there will be showers, lightning, wind intensification that will appear to be squall and isolate, it will be hail .
Counties affected by the weather warning are Arad, Timiş, Hunedoara, Gorj, Caras-Severin, Mehedinti, Dolj, Vâlcea, Olt, Argeş, Teleorman, Prahova and Dâmboviţa.
Furthermore, the quantities of water will exceed local 20-25 litres per square metre and isolated , 40-50 litres per square metre.
Minister of Environment, Rovana Plumb, who attended the meeting of the Ministerial Committee for emergency situations, said that the Romanian authorities are preparing for bad weather.
"I requested, operatively, as all local authorities be prevented and alerted.
"Also, I requested, through the Romanian Waters National Administration , as all means basin water administration and system of water management to be on alert, so as to prevent any kind of risk.
"We are prepared to act at this time," said Rovana Plumb.
