Writer Radu Calin Cristea passed away

The National Audiovisual Council deplores the passing away at the age of 65 of Radu Calin Cristea, a prominent personality of the cultural life in Romania and a member of NAC since 2013.
He was also a radio journalist, and from June 1995 to December 2003 he was the moderator of the "Actualitatea Romaneasca" radio program, the show with the largest audience in the history of Free Europe.
He led the Romanian Television for a short time, and as a political analyst he was a guest of the debate shows on Radio Romania News.
Radu Calin Cristea was decorated with the Cross of the Royal House of Romania.
