Simona Halep qualified unexpectedly easily in the fourth round of the Grand Slam tournament at Roland Garros, after she defeated, on Friday, the American Amanda Anisimova, 6-0, 6-1, in the third round.
Simona Halep, the main favorite of the tournament, won in just 54 minutes and got her revenge after being defeated in Paris last year by Amanda Anisimova (19 years old, 29 WTA) with 6-2, 6-4.
Simona Halep dominated her opponent.
The Romanian, champion in Paris in 2018, will play against the Iga Swiatek in the fourth round (19 years old, 54 WTA).
Simona Halep outscored Iga Swaitek 6-1, 6-0, last year at Roland Garros.
