Wearing a protective mask indoors remains mandatory

Wearing a protective mask indoors will remain mandatory after August 1, the date from which we should move to a new stage of relaxation.
"From August 1 we intend to add relaxation measures such as increasing the number of participants in private events, but this decision of ours, of the state structures, must have a partner - the citizens - and the citizens must respect the health protection measures. I am sending a message as clear as possible: Please continue to observe the sanitary protection measures! Wearing a mask indoors is mandatory and this measure will remain mandatory even after August 1!", announced Lucian Bode, Minister of Internal Affairs.
Given that a wave 4 of the COVID-19 pandemic is inevitable in Romania as well, the Minister of Internal Affairs called on those who have not yet been vaccinated to do so, in order to not establish new restrictions.
