USR supports Ukraine and Moldova's accession to the EU

The accession of Ukraine and the Republic of Moldova to the European Union in the emergency procedure would be a legitimate step and an adequate response to Vladimir Putin, says USR interim President Catalin Drula. He believes that European states must have the right to freely choose their destiny.

Catalin Drula welcomes yesterday's statements by the President of the European Commission, Ursula von der Leyen, regarding Ukraine's desire to join the Union and also the signal given today by the President of the European Council, Charles Michel, who promised that a debate will take place about Ukraine's accession.
