US President Donald Trump sends message on Romania’s National Day

Romania is an invaluable ally for both the United States and the NATO alliance, says United States President, Donald Trump, in a message sent to Romania’s President Klaus Iohannis on December 1, the National Day of Romania.
“We applaud Romania’s staunch commitment to burden sharing and transatlantic security, and we look forward to building further upon our strategic partnership in the years to come”, reads the message published by the Romanian Presidential Administration on its website on Sunday.
“I would also like to express my appreciation for Romania’s dedication to strengthening our shared values of democracy, the rule of law, and a free market economy”, states President Trump in the same message.
