Traffic on Transfagarasan is reopened

Traffic on Transfagarasan, between Piscul Negru and Balea Cascada, opened today, at 8:00, for all categories of vehicles, informs the National Company for Road Infrastructure Management.
"On Wednesday, July 1, 2020, starting with 8:00, traffic on Transfagarasan, between Piscul Negru and Balea Cascada (km 104+000 - km 130+800), is open for all categories of vehicles, in the time interval 07:00-21:00.
For the safety of drivers, traffic is prohibited during the night between 21:00 and 07:00.
We call on drivers to be careful, to adapt their speed to traffic conditions, especially given the atmospheric instability that leads to the appearance of spontaneous meteorological phenomena that affect visibility", states NCRIM.
On the other hand, the road and highway company warns those who transit this sector that, lately, the presence of bears near the roadway is signaled and advises them not to approach the animals, not to feed them and to immediately inform the authorities of their presence.
