Traffic at Romania's borders has intensified

Traffic at the Romanian borders intensified during this period with the opening of the summer season, but also du to the relaxation of some restrictions imposed by the pandemic.
More than 100.000 people have passed through checkpoints across the country in the last 24 hours.
On the entry way, there were about 57 thousand people, with 18.000 means of transport.
The border with Hungary remains the busiest with over 62.000 people, of which about 36.000 have entered the country. Following the procedures performed by specialists, more than 2.700 people were sent in isolation or in quarantine.
The main crossing points where this measure was taken are Nadlac 1 and 2, Bors, Petea and Varsand. Currently, traffic runs smoothly without waiting times.
