"Thousands of Israelis and Ukrainian Jews" evacuated through Romania

More than 3.000 Israelis and more than 1.200 Ukrainians of Jewish descent have been evacuated through Romania, Romanian Foreign Minister Bogdan Aurescu said after meeting with his Israeli counterpart, Yair Lapid. The head of Romanian diplomacy reminded that a logistics center was recently opened in Suceava to collect and transfer international aid to Ukraine, inviting the state of Israel to support it.
The two ministers also spoke about the preparation of the third joint Romanian-Israeli government meeting, with a high potential for collaboration in several areas such as agriculture, water management, artificial intelligence and cyber security.
