This year's edition of the traditional Christmas Tree Festival

This year's edition of the traditional Christmas Tree Festival initiated by the Save the Children organization generated record donations worth 820.000 euros.

The organization noted, in a press release, that at the gala organized in partnership with the National Art Museum of Romania, the 20 trees designed and donated by famous designers and artists from Romania were auctioned with amounts between 7.000 and 100.000 euros by companies that have assumed the role of major actors of social responsibility.

Thus, the money collected will be used to guarantee access to education for children at risk either because of poverty or as a result of the war in Ukraine.

During the 21st editions of the Christmas Tree Festival, the Save the Children organization collected funds in support of more than 144.000 children.
