The United States Ambassador to the United Nations will be in Romania

RADIO ROMANIA NEWS - The United States Ambassador to the United Nations, Linda Thomas-Greenfield, will be in Romania and Moldova tomorrow and on Sunday to learn about the efforts to help refugees arriving from Ukraine and the needs created by the Russian aggression, announced the US mission to the UN in a statement.
The senior US official will meet with government officials, humanitarian response workers and Ukrainian refugees.
According to the United Nations, more than 600.000 Ukrainians have fled to Romania and nearly 400.000 more to the Republic of Moldova since the beginning of Russia's invasion on February 24th.
