The tip paid at the restaurant will be entered on the receipt and taxed starting now.
Its maximum level is 15 percent of the consumption value, and economic operators are forbidden to condition the delivery of goods or the provision of services on the granting of a tip.
No social contributions will be paid from this money, only a 10% tax.
Failure to comply with the provisions of the new law can be sanctioned with a fine from 2.000 to 4.000 lei.
