The President of the European Commission, Ursula von der Leyen, is coming to Bucharest on Saturday

RADIO ROMANIA NEWS - The President of the European Commission, Ursula von der Leyen, will be present, tomorrow, in Bucharest, at a high-level event on the topic of energy security and partnerships in the field of energy, hosted by the President of Romania, Klaus Iohannis, and the Prime Minister, Nicolae Ciuca, informs the Commission's representation in Bucharest.

An agreement on a strategic partnership in the field of green energy development and transport will be signed between Azerbaijan, Georgia, Hungary and Romania. In this way, the financial and technical framework will be ensured for the realization of the submarine cable project for the transport of electricity from renewable sources between Romania and Azerbaijan, via Georgia and the Black Sea, and, subsequently, for the transport of this energy to Hungary and the rest of Europe.
