The number of foreign tourists in Brasov has doubled this year

The number of foreign tourists has doubled in Brasov.

According to statistical data from the first 10 months of this year, the city registered almost one million tourists, 10% of whom were foreign citizens.

On average, each tourist had a two-night stay in Brasov, according to the deputy director of the Statistics Directorate, Mihaela Patea.

Mihaela Patea: Tourists come from Israel, Germany, the United States, the United Kingdom, many tourists from Poland. Tourism experienced a revival, including from the point of view of foreign tourists. Last year it was not possible to travel, but this year the number of foreign tourists has almost doubled; there is still room. The majority are still tourists from our country.
