The number of daily covid cases has fallen below 4.000

The daily number of COVID-19 cases fell again below the 4.000 mark, these results however coming from fewer tests than on weekdays, just over 19.000.
At noon, 3.855 new infections were announced, indicating a high percentage of positive results, almost 20% of them were positive for SARS-CoV-2.
Most were announced again in Bucharest, over 550. The capital is followed today by Alba County, the only one that exceeded 200 cases since the last report , and by 13 other counties that reached or exceeded 100 cases.
There is a sharp increase in the number of patients in Intensive Care Units today - there are currently 828, most so far.
73 deaths associated with the new coronavirus were reported, bringing the death toll to nearly 6.400.
