NATO troops from the Very High Readiness Joint Task Force (VJTF), participating in the Noble Jump 2017 exercise, held a large tactical exercise with real ammunition at the Cincu Training Center in Braşov County.

In addition to terrestrial troops from various allied countries, today drills included F16, MIG 21 Lancer and Apache attack helicopters.

“It was a fantastic opportunity for NATO to bring together eight of the 29 Allied countries to demonstrate the ability to operate in Southeast Europe. There are soldiers from Norway, England, Germany, Spain, Poland, Albania, and also from the United States of America with the combat aircraft you've seen”, the Director of the exercise "Noble Jump 2017", British general Ian Cave said.

The tactical deployment of the troops and equipment participating in the "Noble Jump 2017" exercise is coordinated by NATO's South East Multinational Division in Bucharest.

“I liked the way the participating nations collaborated in this exercise”, Division Commander, Brigadier General Ovidiu Uifaleanu, said.

Nobel Jump 2017 in the Cincu Training Center will continue until Friday, when the exercise will end and the convoys carrying troops and equipment will return to their respective countries.
