The Ministry of National Defense condemns the Russian attacks during the night against the Ukrainian ports on the Danube

The Ministry of National Defense condemns the new series of Russian attacks during the night against some objectives and elements of civil infrastructure in the Ukrainian ports on the Danube. "From the information obtained through the electronic surveillance systems and through the other means of monitoring, no direct military threats to our national territory or the territorial waters of Romania have resulted", according to a press release from the Ministry.

Research teams were also appointed in the field, including on the Danube, for additional checks. Regarding the remains of the drone identified two days ago, the Secretary General of NATO, Jens Stoltenberg, says that there is no evidence that it represents a deliberate Russian attack on an Alliance state.
