The ministers of national defense from Romania and Turkey signed a framework agreement in the military field

The Minister of National Defense, Angel Tilvar, signed together with his Turkish counterpart, Yasar Guler, the framework agreement between the Government of Romania and the Government of the Republic of Turkey in the military field.
The agreement reflects the desire of the two parties to update the legal framework of cooperation, which will allow the expansion and deepening of relations in the field of defense, taking into account recent changes in the security environment.
"The agreement signed today reflects the current level of military relations with Turkey, one of the most important strategic partners of Romania, especially in the context of the 100th anniversary of military and diplomatic relations between our countries", declared the Minister of National Defense in a press release.
