The Minister of Internal Affairs asks for check-ups at the Capital Police

The Minister of Internal Affairs, Marcel Vela, asked the Control Corps to immediately carry out a check-up at the Capital Police.
The control follows the statements made on a television station by the head of the Violent Crime Groups Service.
This structure was created within the Capital Police to document the activity of criminal organizations.
The head of this structure, Chief Commissioner Andrei Marius, claimed in an interview with Digi 24 that his subordinates were pressured last year to drop some investigations and that some underworld clans in Bucharest have people infiltrated in politics and police.
