RADIO ROMANIA NEWS - The representatives of the major trade union federations participated, today, in the Tripartite National Council for Social Dialogue, during which the prime minister assured that, next year, taxes and duties will not be increased, nor will new taxes be introduced. Marcel Ciolacu specified that, instead, solutions are being sought to reduce labor taxation and increase budget revenues by combating evasion and improving organization at ANAF and customs. The leader of Cartel Alfa, Bogdan Hossu, pleaded for a new increase in the minimum wage for the economy from January 1, 2024, but this topic, the level of the increase and the date from which it will be applied, will be addressed in the next meeting of the government with the unions and patronage, at the beginning of next month.
