The heat wave will continue in the west and in the south of the country for the next two days, and the maximum temperatures will be between 33 and 37 degrees, according to a Yellow Code warning issued on Thursday by the National Meteorological Administration.
Thermal discomfort will be high and the temperature-humidity index (ITU) will exceed the critical threshold of 80 units, especially on Friday afternoon.
On Saturday, the thermal discomfort will be high in most regions and from the second part of the day the atmospheric instability will increase first in the west and northwest, then gradually in the rest of the territory.
