The government's agenda will be based on the observance of the NRRP terms

After two months of political crisis, Romania has a new government. Yesterday, the PSD-PNL-UDMR government led by Nicolae Ciuca obtained the investiture vote in the Parliament.

After the end of the voting procedure, the new prime minister declared that the relevant ministers will comply with the agenda and the observance of the deadlines for the implementation of the National Recovery and Resilience Plan, considered the axis of the government program. Otherwise, says Prime Minister Nicolae Ciuca, the money provided in this plan will not be accessible.

Nicolae Ciuca: In the NRRP there are annexes in which are stipulated very well the terms that must be respected and, as such, we will fold our agenda on everything that means the observance of those terms. It is very clear that if the respective deadlines are not met, the money will not be accessible. Basically, our problem, of Romania, at the moment is that of money absorption. We are not only talking about the NRRP, but also about the other funds from the European Union, the structural funds which must also be a priority for the Romanian Government.
