The Government of Romania counts on the support of the European Commission

RADIO ROMANIA NEWS - The Romanian government counts on the support of the European Commission, the member states and other partners to respond as effectively as possible to the needs of refugees - Prime Minister Nicolae Ciuca said today.
He had a meeting in Bucharest with the European Commissioner for Humanitarian Aid and Crisis Management, Janez Lenarcic.
The official's visit to Brussels takes place in the context of the operationalization, starting yesterday, of the humanitarian hub hosted by Romania in Suceava, with the support of the European Commission.
The activation of this logistics center for storage and distribution of humanitarian assistance reflects the government's firm commitment to the operative and coherent management of the influx of refugees entering and remaining in Romania, said Prime Minister Nicolae Ciuca.
