The actor Ion Lucian has ceased to live
Comedian in theatre plays and movies, Ion Lucian has gained 70 years of experience in the art of spectacle. The master has received in 2004 from France the title of Officer at the National Ordinance of the Honor Legion.

The actor Ion Lucian has ceased to live Saturday evening, at 87 years old, at Urgency Hospital Floreasca from capital.
Ion Lucian was hospitalized being suspect of anemia and bronchopneumonia.
Comedian in theatre and movies, in his almost 88 years, Ion Lucian has gained 70 years of experience in the art of spectacle.
At 18 years old he was already playing on the stage of the National Theatre from Bucharest.
Plays by Eugen Ionescu and “The naughty Cock”, written right by Ion Lucian, are spectacles that he performed also in Paris and abroad, in Canada.
From his filmography we remind “Titanic Waltz”, “The One Kilo Tomato”, “The Honor Medal” –his last movie.
He translated plays from French into Romanian, founded and led two theatres: Children’ Theatre “Ion Creangă” and “Excelsior” theatre from the capital, which has a new center starting last year.
Ion Lucian was honored with the title of emeritus artist.
From France, the master has received, in 2004, the title of Officer of the Nation Ordinance of the Honor Legion for his activity within the francophone space.
