As of 15 October 2018, TAROM passengers can book and buy tickets from smartphones using iOs and Android platforms, Romania's state-owned airline operator announces.
If the address www.tarom.ro is accessed from the mobile phone, the site automatically detects the type of terminal used and redirects the user to the version for smartphones.
Mobile version interface was greatly improved. Passengers may book their flights from the smartphones even if the internet connection is not high. Ticket payment is made online, guarantying security of data sent through the mobile data network.
At the end of the booking process, passengers receive, at the email address indicated during the booking process, both the confirmation of their flight and the electronic ticket issued online after confirmation of payment.

By launching the new online booking engine which can be used from the smartphones, available on www.tarom.ro, TAROM wishes to meet passengers’ needs, by offering them a modern online booking instrument which can be used from every corner on the world where there is a mobile Internet connection.
