Syria air-strikes: Romania in solidarity with actions of strategic partners

Romania stands in solidarity with actions of its strategic partners, President Klaus Iohannis stated on Saturday in reference to the operation launched by the United States, Great Britain and France in Syria.

Bucharest condemns the use of chemical weapons in Syria, which has no justification, President Iohannis mentions in a message posted on Twitter.

Romanian Foreign Ministry also considers that the action of the three NATO states is a firm response to the atrocities that led to many victims among the civilian population of Douma, confronted with the devastating consequences of a war that must be concluded as soon as possible.

Romania is in solidarity with its allies and strategic partners, says the Foreign Ministry, reaffirming that it is essential that all parties involved in the Syrian file continue to actively support the UN's efforts to end this crisis.
