"Supporting veterans"

An event dedicated to the National Day of War Veterans took place yesterday at the National Military Circle in Bucharest, at 13:30.
The event was part of the "Supporting veterans" campaign and was attended by President Klaus Iohannis and Prime Minister Florin Citu.
Crown custodians Margaret and Prince Radu were also present and symbolically wrapped gifts for World War II veterans.
The campaign started on April 23 and is organized by the Ministry of National Defense in partnership with the "Together with Heroes" Association.
It will take place over several days and includes the distribution of gift packages on the occasion of the Easter holidays for all the 2.610 war veterans in Romania, as well as for the eight in the Republic of Moldova.
The distribution of gifts to war veterans will take place between April 28-30.
The stories of veterans must never be forgotten! Campaign carried out by the Ministry of National Defense and the "Together with Heroes" Foundation.
