Supply aid for Ukraine

The first food aid left Sighetu Marmatiei beyond the border yesterday, where many Ukrainians chose not to leave home.

Several associations, local NGOs, but also ordinary citizens have contributed and loaded cars with non-perishable food, canned food, hygiene and care products, which have already left for Ukraine.

Volunteers from "We are their voice" Association, SOS Bambini Romania, Sighet branch, "We give" Association, together with good people from all over the county, and not only, collected goods and food, which were sent across the border.

The aid also came from other parts of the country, which are collected at the Multipurpose Hall in Sighetu Marmatiei.

Solidarity was the watchword, especially since everything was done voluntarily, including transport to the neighboring country.

The collection of aid for Ukrainian citizens will continue today, and will be sent where needed.
