Spanish Foreign Minister Is Visiting Romania

The Spanish Foreign Minister is paying a two days visit to Romania, to discuss bilateral cooperation with top officials, including Prime Minister Victor Ponta and President Traian Basescu.

Spain and Romania share common interests within NATO and the EU.

Minister Jose Manuel Garcia Margallo is accompanied by Spanish businessmen interested mainly in constructions, green energy and telecommunications.

According to the official data, over 4,000 Spanish companies are registered in Romania.
