Interactive teaching technologies or adapting the curriculum to the labour market are just a few of the issues debated at the Congress, which continues today in the capital.

One of the solutions found by the 2000 experts meeting at the Congress, to adapt the curriculum to the labour market, is a vocational school in the dual system.

12,000 students are enrolled in this form that the authorities are trying to extend it.

Professional education in the dual system is not working at this time in Romania, according to the Western European standards , said Director of the Centre for the development of National Vocational and technical education (CNDIPT), Liliana Ciobanu .

"It's a professional education organized on the principles of dual system, students have the status of students belonging to the education system, as opposed to the dual system, where the student has a contract with the undertaking, and for the theoretical training of pupil, the school seeks and concludes a contract with school and student also has the status of, let’s say, part-time student and he is paid ," says Liliana Ciobanu.
