400 million euros available for SMEs, after the signing of agreements between six Romanian banks and the European Investment Bank (EIB)

400 million euros will be available for Small and Medium-sized Enterprises (SME) financing, after the signing of agreements between six Romanian banks and the European Investment Bank (EIB), scheduled for today.
Based on these arrangements, banks will be able to grant loans for the start-up of new Small and Medium-sized Enterprises as well as for the development of the existing ones.
The cooperation agreement between the EIB Group, the European Commission and the Government of Romania was signed in Bucharest in October last year.
