Six Romanian companies, in the annual Deloitte classification

Two companies from Bucharest and Cluj-Napoca, one from Timisoara and the other from Iasi can be found in Technology Fast 500 EMEA2010 annual list, drawn up by Deloitte.

Six Romanian companies specialized in software applications can be found among the first 400 international companies included in the Technology Fast 500 EMEA annual classification (Europe, Middle East and Africa) 2010 provided by Deloitte.

According to the hierarchy, the best ranked is TeamNet International (rank 31), followed by Arobs Transilvania Software (212), Crys Computers (283), Fortech (285), Lasting Software (334) and The Red Point ( 352).

For this competition, Romania had seven nominees, the first six qualifying based on the growth reported between 2005-2009.

The leader of the 2010 list is the British company Mobile Interactive Group, a software applications promoter that reported a growth of almost 27 percent in the last 5 years.

The Technology Fast 500 EMEA Deloitte program, at its 10th edition, is the most objective regional standard of hierarchical system of this industry.

This program admits the efforts and determination of the most 500 developed companies in EMEA in the last 5 years.

The annual Deloitte classification includes the most dynamic public and private companies with activities in technological industry, media, telecommunications, medical industry or ecological technologies in 24 EMEA countries.

To be eligible, companies should be active for at least 5 years, have operational incomes for at least 50.000 Euros in the first year that is taken into account and incomes of at least 800.000 Euros in the current year.

France, leader of the number of nominated companies in the list

Regarding the geographical tendencies, France scored the largest number of companies in this ranking (4), followed by Great Britain with 86.

Sweden overthrew Norway and Holland, going up on the third place with 65 companies, 27 more than in 2009.

Regarding the operational areas, the software applications sector represents 40 percent of this classification, with 202 qualified companies.

It is followed by internet companies (22 percent), telecommunications /cables (15 percent), semiconductors, components, electronics (9 percent), Biotechnology/Pharmaceutics/Medical Equipments (6 percent), Green Technology (6 percent) and Computers/Peripherals (3 percent), Media/Entertainment (2 percent).

Among the TMT clients of the Deloitte member companies there are worldwide top software companies, computer producers, wireless and cable operators, publicity agencies, semiconductor producers, as well as leaders in media zone.
